2013-P Great Basin National Park 5 Ounce Silver Uncirculated Coins are no longer available from the United States Mint.
Earlier today, November 19, 2013, the U.S. Mint website tagged the words "sold out" on the coin’s product page, making it the second of the five 2013-P America the Beautiful Five Ounce Silver Uncirculated Coins to sell out.
First to reach that distinction was the White Mountain silver coin on October 9, 2013. It was also the first of the 2013-dated ATB silver coins to go on sale, released on May 16, 2013. Conversely, the Great Basin silver coin was the third released this year, launching on July 25, 2013.
The latest U.S. Mint weekly gains and sales as of November 17, 2013 for all of this year’s 2013-P ATB 5 ounce silver coins follows:
Previous Sales | Latest Sales | Unit Increase | Mintage Limit / Notes | |
2013-P Mount Rushmore 5 Ounce Silver Uncirculated Coins | 14,012 | 17,048 | 3,036 | 25,000 |
2013-P Fort McHenry 5 Ounce Silver Uncirculated Coins | 18,215 | 18,674 | 459 | 25,000 |
2013-P Great Basin 5 Ounce Silver Uncirculated Coins | 17,577 | 17,774 | 197 | Sold Out |
2013-P Perry’s Victory 5 Ounce Silver Uncirculated Coins | 17,406 | 17,632 | 226 | 25,000 |
2013-P White Mountain 5 Ounce Silver Uncirculated Coins | 20,536 | 20,536 | 0 | Sold Out |
Expect the sales total for the 2013-P Great Basin silver coin to change at least slightly to take into account orders place between the 17th and the time of its sell out.
Finally, take note that its sales total is well below the announced 25,000 mintage, just as happened with the White Mountain silver coin. That suggests the others could sell out early as well. The remaining three 5 ounce silver coins are available for $154.95 each and may be ordered at www.usmint.gov/catalog.
