2013 Year of the Snake Silver Coins in Baby, Rectangle and Color Editions

Several new 2013 Year of the Snake Silver Coins have been released this month by the Perth Mint of Australia.
Included among the new line-up is a massive 1 kilo and smaller 1/2 ounce colored coins, a 1/2 ounce baby snake edition and a four-coin set with each coin weighing 1 ounce and shaped like a rectangle.
The kilo and 1/2 ounce Year of the Snake Silver Coins are issued as legal tender of Australia and contain a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse. The Baby Snake Silver Coin also depicts Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse but is struck as legal tender of the island nation of Tuvalu. The rectangle coins of the four-coin silver set are struck as Cook Islands legal tender.
2013 1 Kilo Year of the Snake Silver Proof Colored Coin
The 2013 Year of the Snake Silver Proof Colored Coin is struck from one kilo of 99.9% pure silver. It shows the familiar 2013 Year of the Snake design chosen by officials at the Perth to be featured on coins of the Lunar series.
A colored snake is depicted hanging from a branch on this reverse. The $30 face value coin features a maximum mintage of 500 with each including a display case, illustrated shipper and a numbered certificate of authenticity.

2013 1/2 oz Year of the Snake Silver Proof Colored Coin
The same design of a colored snake is found on the reverse of the 2013 Year of the Snake Silver Proof Coin. Struck from one-half ounce of .999 fine silver, this coin has a legal tender face value of 50 cents.
Each coin is placed in a Perth Mint display case and features a maximum mintage of 10,000. A numbered certificate of authenticity and an illustrated shipper is also included.

2013 1/2 oz Baby Snake Silver Proof Coin
A different image of a snake is found on the reverse of the Baby Snake Silver Proof Coin. It is colored as well, but depicts a baby snake, as the name of the coin indicates, along with a festive wreath and decorations.
This coin has a maximum mintage of 7,500 and is struck from one-half ounce of 99.9% pure silver. Each comes with a numbered certificate of authenticity and an illustrated shipper.

2013 Year of the Snake Rectangle Four-Coin Silver Set
Four different coins appear as part of the Lunar Calendar Series 2013 Year of the Snake Rectangle Four-Coin Silver Set. Each of these depicts a different image of a snake, colored to their lifelike hues.
These four rectangle coins are each composed of 1 ounce of .999 fine silver and include a contemporary black framed clear display case suitable for housing the set. Mintage of this release is listed at 3,000.
