2014 Bald Eagle Silver Coin Depicts Return From Hunt Scene

A popular series expanded to its third release with the recent debut of the 2014 Bald Eagle Returning From the Hunt 1 oz Fine Silver Coin from the Royal Canadian Mint.
Each is struck from one ounce of 99.99% pure silver. Mintage is capped at 7,500 with a household ordering limit of one.
This release continues a series of one ounce fine silver coins showcasing bald eagles from different perspectives. Previous strikes sold out.
Bald eagles can be found just in North America with their range running from Alaska, through Canada, the contiguous United States and into northern Mexico. They are exceptional hunters capable of diving at speeds of up to 120 kilometers per hour.
Designs and Specifications for Silver Coin
Canadian artist Claudio D’Angelo designed the reverse. It offers a representation of a majestic bald eagle returning from the hunt and about to land on the branch of a tree. The eagle’s wings are completely outstretched with a fresh fish shown in its left claw.
Inscriptions around the reverse include CANADA, 2013 and the face value of 20 DOLLARS. Claudio D’Angelo’s initials of CD are shown to the bottom left of the design.
Obverses contain Susanna Blunt’s effigy of Queen Elizabeth II. Inscriptions surrounding the design include ELIZABETH II and D G REGINA.
Edge lettering is found on the silver coin stating: FINE SILVER 1 OZ ARGENT PUR 1 OZ. Specifications of the proof coin include a weight of 31.39 grams and a diameter of 38 mm.
