2015 Proof Silver Eagles Jump in Weekly Sales

Proof Silver Eagles and America the Beautiful Quarters Silver Proof Sets were among the biggest movers in the latest United States Mint sales stats, besides the new 2015 March of Dime Silver Dollar sales described in an earlier article.

Sales of 2015-W Proof American Silver Eagles spiked 9,887 to 323,782 after losing 1,483 in the previous week. It had been six weeks since the last time its weekly sales jumped by more than 9,000.
Although sales of 2015 America the Beautiful Quarters Silver Proof Sets weren’t as dramatic, they did gain 3,155 during their third full week on the market, so their total reached 59,840. Sales of this year’s set are trending very closely with last year’s set, which reached 60,802 after its third week of availability.
On the bullion side, on Monday American Silver Eagles topped 10 million in total sales for the year. Steady daily gains put the current year-to-date number at 10,591,000.
