2015 Silver Proof Set Sales Roll On in First Full Week

Solid demand for the 2015 Silver Proof Set continued during its first full week of availability, following its launch on May 14. Other fast movers included the 2015-W Proof Silver Eagle, per new United States Mint sales stats.

Sales numbers for the 2015 Silver Proof Set rose 20,350, advancing its total to 204,963. When the set debuted, orders reached 184,613 in first four days. More than likely, the set will continue to be "most popular" for another couple of weeks until there is another silver product release in the middle of June.

The silver collectible with the second highest weekly sales advanced by 9,526 and was the 2015-W Proof Silver Eagle. This latest gain pushed their total up to 399,565. In the next round the Silver Eagles will surely pass the 400K milestone which has been sort of the halfway point in recent years for total sales. Sales for last year’s issue reached 763,119 in this round.
