2017 Proof Silver Eagle Climbs to 253,049

The latest United States Mint sales stats show the 2017-W Proof American Eagle Silver winning the top spot in the white metal category. Its total climbed by 2,199 to reach 253,049.

As for the recently released 2017-P Frederick Douglass Five Ounce Silver Uncirculated Coin, consumers bought another 459 of them during the week, which pushed its total-sold up to 14,220. May 2 was its launch date.
Next in the Mint’s silver line-up will be the 2017 Silver Proof Set. It will go on sale on June 7.
