2017 Silver Proof Set Inaugural Sales

Initial sales results of the newly released 2017 Silver Proof Set reached 174,724 following its launch on Wednesday, June 7 through to Sunday, June 11. The set includes a total of 10 coins, with 7 of them composed of 90% silver, and it’s priced at $47.95.
The 2017 Silver Proof Set logged debut sales of 174,724.
The set’s inaugural sales were in the ballpark with the previous year’s starting numbers — just a smidgen. The 2016 issue debuted at 176,733 last April, and the 2015 set opened with 184,613 orders. The new set was the Mint’s best-selling weekly numismatic product.
The table below shows the latest sales stats for collector coins and related silver products from the U.S. Mint. Sunday, June 11, is the as of date for the standard collectibles and Friday, June 16, is the as of date for the bullion products.
