This week the United States Mint announced a December 17, 2012 deadline for accepting orders for commemorative coins and silver medals. It affects the Star-Spangled Banner commemorative silver and gold coins and sets, the Infantry Soldier Silver Dollars and set as well as the 9/11 Silver Medals.
