For the second consecutive week, the latest United States Mint sales stats show a general decline in collector activity for US silver coins and sets.

Silver Falls 10% in Three Weeks

For the shortened holiday week, silver and gold prices declined as palladium and platinum gained, marking a three-week repeat of the same cycle. London spot silver ended at $12.30 an ounce, plummeting 56 cents, or 4.4 percent, from last Friday’s close. Silver has declined 9.9 percent (down by $1.35) since March 20.
