Once again, 2014-W Proof Silver Eagles led sales of silver coins per this week’s United States Mint sales stats. They were followed by 2014 Silver Proof Sets and 2014-W Uncirculated Silver Eagles. Demand surged for this year’s Proof Silver Eagles compared to the previous week. Buyers scooped up 12,675, lifting the year-to-date total to 563,316.

United States Mint silver coin sales were higher in this latest round than they have been in a long time. Almost all silver products outperformed their prior weekly sales, and the 2014 Shenandoah National Park Five Ounce Silver Uncirculated Coin helped sparked some of that with its debut.
