2013 Discover Australia Silver Proof Coins Debut

The Perth Mint of Australia continues an annual program with the release of five new 2013 Discover Australia Silver Proof Coins. These five silver coins each depict a different Australian creature along with a colored image of its natural habitat. They are struck from one ounce of 99.9% pure silver to proof quality.

2013 Rainbow Lorikeet Silver Coin Fourth in Birds of Australia Series

The Birds of Australia Series from the Perth Mint is expanded by its fourth silver coin with the 2013 Rainbow Lorikeet Silver Proof Coin. Each coin is struck from one-half ounce of 99.9% pure silver to proof quality with a colored image of a Rainbow Lorikeet featured on the reverse.

1913-2013 Stamp-Shaped Silver Coin Depicts Kangaroo and Map

Celebrating the centennial of the first stamp release of the country, the Perth Mint of Australia introduced its Kangaroo and Map: 1913-2013 Stamp and Coin Set. The set includes an official $10 stamp along with a stamp-shaped silver coin. Each coin is struck from 1/2 ounce of .999 fine silver to proof quality.

2013 Australian Kookaburra High Relief Silver Coin Released

The 2013 Australian Kookaburra High Relief Silver Coin is now available from the Perth Mint of Australia. Its mintage is limited to 10,000. Each coin is struck to proof quality from one ounce of .999 fine silver. Shown on the reverse of the strike is a design depicting two young kookaburras.
