Making its debut this month from the Perth Mint of Australia is the 2012 High Relief Four-Coin Silver Proof Set. This proof set contains a collection of four high relief silver proof coins each struck from one ounce of 99.9% pure silver and initially issued individually earlier in 2012.

2013 Year of the Snake High Relief Silver Proof Coin Released

Available now from the Perth Mint of Australia is the 2013 Year of the Snake High Relief Silver Proof Coin. It is composed from one ounce of 99.9% pure silver with both the obverse and reverse imagery minted on concave surfaces to allow for a higher level of detail.

The Perth Mint of Australia released the first of five issues of its new Birds of Australia Series. The 1/2 ounce 2013 Red-Tailed Black-Cockatoo Silver Proof Coin has a limited mintage of 10,000 worldwide. On the reverse of the silver coin is a colorized Red-tailed Black-Cockatoo perched on a struck wooden log among other vegetation.
