Disney Characters Depicted on 2014 Silver Coins

Some of the most recognized animated characters in the world are presented on six new silver coins and released as a part of the Disney Mickey & Friends Limited Edition Collectible Coin series from the New Zealand Mint.

The new one ounce 99.9% pure silver coins offer reverse designs depicting Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy, Daisy Duck and Pluto. These new releases are available individually or as a complete set.
"These coins are sure to appeal to serious Disney fans seeking quality Disney memorabilia, as well as to those looking for a unique gift," offers the New Zealand Mint, issuer of the Disney Mickey & Friends Limited Edition Collectible Coin Program.
Previous Disney issues debuted earlier this year with the 2014 Steamboat Willie Silver Coin and associated gold issue. Coins depicting Donald Duck followed.
Mickey & Friends Coin Designs and Specifications
Each of the six silver coins present a colored image of a classic Disney character on their reverse. All six characters are set against a film reel background. Inscribed is the character’s name along with "1 oz 999 Fine Silver ©Disney."
Coins of the program are struck under official license of Disney and are issued by the New Zealand Mint as official legal tender of the island nation of Niue.
An effigy of Queen Elizabeth II appears on obverses. Inscriptions around the portait include ELIZABETH II, NIUE, 2014 and the face value of Niue $2.
