Friday Deadline for Bald Eagle and Legacy Collection Coins

Time is quickly running out for commemorative Bald Eagle coins and the American Legacy Collection Set. These U.S. Mint products have a purchase deadline of Friday, December 12, at 5:00 pm (ET).

The Bald Eagle options are available in proof or uncirculated and struck in $1 silver, $5 gold and 50-cent clad sizes with pricing ranging as low as $8.95 to a high of $319.95. These coins commemorate the recovery of the Bald Eagle and the upcoming 35th Anniversary of the Endangered Species Act on December 28.

The Mint on Monday also reminded collectors that sales of the 2008 United States Mint American Legacy Collection® ends Friday. This 15-coin set includes proof versions of the 14 circulating coins and the proof Bald Eagle silver dollar.
