Lions Clubs Silver Dollar Prices to Rise Feb. 21

Introductory prices for the 2017 Lions Clubs International Centennial Silver Dollars will conclude Tuesday, February 21, at 3:00 PM ET.
Available in uncirculated and proof collector qualities, the commemorative silver coins climb $5 higher to their regular prices of $51.95 and $52.95 from their introductory pricing of $46.95 and $47.95. The prices include surcharges of $10 each with proceeds, if the coins make money, to be paid to the Lions Clubs International Foundation.
Released on January 18, 2017, the two silver dollars logged first-day sales totaling 25,170 coins. Their total through the first three full weeks of availability reached 48,895, which is 12.2% of their authorized maximum mintage of 400,000, with splits of 37,974 for the proof and 10,921 for the uncirculated.
