Sales of the 2015 March of Dimes Special Silver Set begin at noon Eastern Time on May 4, the United States Mint announced Friday, March 6.
This set, which includes two 90% Roosevelt silver dimes and one commemorative silver dollar, has a product limit of 75,000 and an ordering restriction of five per household — details that were not available when we talked about the set last month. It is one of the three products that celebrate the 75th anniversary of the March of Dimes, as authorized by Public Law 112-209.
Commemorative March of Dime Silver Dollars in proof and uncirculated quality go on sale one week from today, March 13. Introductory prices are $43.95 for the uncirculated and $46.95 for the proof. The special set will cost $61.95, and includes a 2015-W Proof March of Dimes Silver Dollar, a 2015-P Reverse Proof Roosevelt Silver Dime and a regular 2015-W Proof Roosevelt Silver Dime.
Both dimes are only available in the set, and each marks a first. The United States Mint has never produced a proof dime from West Point and it has never produced a reverse proof dime.
