Less than 24 hours remain to buy American Silver Eagles from the United States Mint. The agency will stop selling the silver coins and all products with them at noon ET on Dec. 30, 2015. A small change in the law could soon mean big changes for collector silver coins and sets produced by the United States Mint.

American Eagle 2015 Silver Bullion Sales End at All-Time Record

Popularity of American Eagle silver coins hit an all-time high in 2015. Silver Eagle bullion sales ended on Tuesday, December 15, at a new annual record for the United States Mint at 47,000,000 coins.

US Mint Sales: 2015 Saratoga Silver Coin Unavailable

The newest star in the United States Mint’s lineup of silver products is the 2015-P Saratoga National Historical Park Five Ounce Silver Uncirculated Coin.

US Mint Silver Coin Sales Ramp Up

The United States Mint’s weekly allotment of bullion American Silver Eagles was set at 920,500 coins on Monday, and all of it was ordered by Tuesday. Two more weekly rounds of rationing are left, since the Mint said it would continue to produce 2015 Silver Eagles through the week of December 7. Currently, the year-to-date record sales equal 44,850,000 or 844,000 more than last year’s sales.
