US Mint Sales: Johnson Sets Gone In 4 Hours

Short was the length of selling time for the 2015 Lyndon B. Johnson Coin & Chronicles Set. It debuted at noon ET on Tuesday, October 27, and sold out before 4 PM the same day. The set’s product limit was 25,000 and ordering was limited to 2 per household.

Consumers snapped up 9,970 of them by Sunday, at a cost of $48.95 each, and that moved the one-ounce 99.9% fine silver coin’s total-sold number up to 587,627.
