Issue Date: June 30, 2011 – Price: $58.95 The Silver Eagle Proof initially launched at $59.95, but that was raised to $68.45 on August 29 only to be lowered again to $58.95 on October 7. 2011 Silver Eagle Bullion Coin Issue Date: Jan. 3, 2011 – Price: Variable Demand for the investment-grade Silver Eagle bullion coin has never been higher, literally. It hit the annual record in early October when sales topped 34.67 million — with nearly two months left in the year. 2011 Silver Eagle Uncirculated Issue Date: Sept. 15, 2011 – Price: $50.95 The United States Mint issued the collector Silver Eagle Uncirculated coin following a two year hiatus. 2011 Medal of Honor Silver Dollars Issue Date: Feb. 25, 2011 – Price: $60/$55 The second commemorative series for the year, the 2011 Medal of Honor Silver Dollar Commemorative Coins, were released February 25 with a maximum mintage of 500,000 across both proof and uncirculated versions. Issue Date: Jan. 25, 2011 – Price: $67.95 The 2011 Silver Proof Set is the first of two annual sets issued in the year that contain silver coins. It features collector proof versions of all 14 circulating coins that will be released during the year, including the same 90 percent silver quarters found in the silver set (shown right), which was released later.
