Orders rolled in for the debut of the 2012 Denali National Park 5 Ounce Silver Bullion Coin. Initial reporting shows that United States Mint Authorized Purchasers (AP’s) bought 5,200 Denali silver coins on the first day of availability, October 22, 2012.

The latest weekly U.S. Mint sales stats revealed 2012-W Proof Silver Eagle coin orders spiked despite their suspension on Wednesday, October 3. Between Monday, October 1, and Monday, October 8, collectors raced to buy 20,359 proof Silver Eagle coins after picking up 12,133 during the final week of September.

The fall season kicked off with the debut of the numismatic 2012-P Hawaii Volcanoes National Park 5 Ounce Silver Uncirculated Coin. Its inaugural sales reached 9,186 units.
