Inaugural Hawaii Volcanoes 5 Ounce Silver Coin Sales Surge

The fall season kicked off with the debut of the numismatic 2012-P Hawaii Volcanoes National Park 5 Ounce Silver Uncirculated Coin. Its inaugural sales reached 9,186 units. Although lower than weekly sales for the much older and always popular 2012-W Proof Silver Eagle, the Hawaii Volcanoes silver coin overshadowed previous five ounce sales openers.
