The days are officially numbered for 2011 silver dollars, 2010 silver sets and several other United States Mint numismatic products.
This week the United States Mint created a ‘Last Opportunity‘ section on its online store that offers order deadlines for more than a dozen products, including a December 16 end date for all four of this year’s commemorative silver dollars and a sales stoppage of December 30 for the 2010 Silver Proof Set and 2010 ATB Silver Quarters Proof Set.
Sales for the silver sets had been suspended all last week, but their availability resumed on Wednesday, presumably because the market price of silver appears to have stabilized a bit.
Although the deadlines include dates and times, the products may sell out early, so the United States Mint notes that: "This is a limited-time, first-come, first-served offer and no household limits will apply."
It went on to explain the 7-day return policy applies only to damaged products.
The following tables list the current products appearing on the Mint’s Last Opportunity page. Also included are their current prices and the latest United States Mint sales figures as of October 3. The silver products are in bold.
