US Mint Sales: 2015 Saratoga Silver Coin Unavailable

The newest star in the United States Mint’s lineup of silver products is the 2015-P Saratoga National Historical Park Five Ounce Silver Uncirculated Coin.
The 2015-P Saratoga Five Ounce Silver Uncirculated Coin sold out.
It launched a week ago Thursday, December 3, and started off with 17,053 in sales. It’s now no longer for sale, with its online product page now having a ‘Remind Me’ button in case more become available. As we discussed earlier, the Saratoga coin had a maximum limit of 20,000 since the bullion version sold out at 45,000 — the maximum across both was established at 65,000.
Saratoga’s debut outshines the opening numbers for the previous five coins in America the Beautiful series. The one to come closest to it was last year’s Everglades silver coin initial sales of 16,243.
Also at the top of this week’s sales chart was the 2015-W Proof American Silver Eagle. Consumers picked up 22,839 of them and bumped their total up to 679,397.
On the bullion side, the American Silver Eagle annual record climbed by 936,000 to 45,786,000. The Mint said it will announce its final allocation of 2015-dated strikes on Monday, December 14.
