The new US Mint weekly sales report shows solid gains for collector silver products, and decent traction for bullion American Silver Eagles.
The bullion coins rose 725,000 in five days — between March 10 – 15. Totals sales for the month now stand at 1.9 million.
Silver numismatic coins and sets improved nicely.
The 2009 US Mint Silver Proof Set and the 2009 DC & US Territories Quarters Silver Set each registered week-over-week improvements.
The 2010 Disabled American Veterans (DAV) Silver Dollars have advanced well, reaching 153,936 in total with another 16,323 proofs and 5,779 uncirculated coins sold. With the Boy Scouts of America Dollars launching Tuesday, the DAV dollars will have to compete for the attention of buyers beginning next week.
