US Mint Silver Coin Sales Stats – Jan 11

US Mint silver coin sales stats2008 Annual Uncirculated Dollar set sales increased the most over the previous silver coin stats, according to the US Mint newest figures. Sales were up by 1,514 coins, or 3.73 percent.

Stats for the Bald Eagle Three-Coin Proof Set and the American Legacy Collection set are unchanged, indicating figures for these already discontinued 2008 products may now be finalized and set for the history books.

On a unit basis, the popular US Mint Silver Proof Set is again the winner, climbing by 12,973 sets for a total of 682,913 sold.

There is still no official word for when the 2009-dated collector American Eagle silver coins will launch. The Mint’s 2009 release schedule does list the commemorative silver coin release dates.
